How sad that Americans cannot trust the information supplied by their government from departments, that are suppose to reflect helping, empowering, and informing, the public trusted information. How wonderful, someone stepped outside that box, to do something right!
The only way I know there are measles cases in Los Angeles and to get a vaccine is because I went to an imaging website to make an appointment for an ultrasound and it was in a banner at the top of their page.

This is a GREAT idea and support this. If independent groups are able to gather data, verify it and present it in a clear way to the public then this would be a great counterpoint to the disinformation being promulgated by this administration. Even the jobs data would also be a good candidate too!

I think they are dependent on CDC for information and were good for disseminating it for a bit, but it's run dry.
The AMA was utterly silent about COVID for 5 years. No guidance was offered to medical providers or the general public beyond a bland referral to the CDC website.
If the AMA is stepping up now, great, but their track record is disgraceful.
