  1. I still think this is, in effect, police and protesters working in collaboration to send a message to the government about how stupid it was to proscribe PA.

  2. it is outrageous, becoming typical of this weak and cowardly government, using police and justice resources against peaceful and/ or non violent protesters to try to intimidate whilst pandering to genocide committing governments and far right bullies and charlatans, I am truly disgusted

  3. Disgraceful suppression of free speech by Labour. For a Labour Home Secretary to be the driving force for this action & banning an organisation as a knee jerk reaction makes yet another policy look like a continuation of the past Tory government. No wonder REFORM are gaining ground! 😠

  4. This is nuts. I'm not sure what else to say about it. Making terrorists out of people protesting children and other civilians being murdered is just mad. Hopefully, any trials being held - whenever they might happen - will aquit these people. The government seriously needs to rethink this.

  5. Fuck the Labour party.

    Fuck the police.

Free Palestine and lock up Netanyahu...I mean, for god's sake the man's a proscribed war criminal! 🤬

  6. I never thought I'd see in my lifetime a government in the UK that would have people arrested for opposing genocide. Anyone still supporting Starmer's Labour government should hang their heads in shame.

  7. sigh

I really hope that those who have jobs have thought very carefully about what happens when you don't declare a criminal conviction to your employer, or what happens when you do.

The government will just double-down, and the Police will make a point of arresting every single one.

  8. Any arrests for attacking hotels housing refugees? Oppose ethnic cleansing and genocide and in the eyes of Starmer/Lammy/ Cooper you are a terrorist and need arresting to protect the state. Maybe time to proscribe labour friends of Israel as a terrorist group. Supporting genocide not a good look

  9. Excellent, wonderful…….and the remaining British patriots who tried to murder people in hotels, attempted murder on the police, costing the country millions of pounds for additional security and pissing on memorials of dead children? I assume they will be detained shortly as well?

  10. I feel very strongly about the genocide in Palestine. I also think that its possible that PA are not worth getting arrested for. Other protests are more powerful, and less "come on, arrest me then". People are not protesting about Gaza here, they are sticking 2 fingers up to gvt, with consequences.

  11. Yes the UK Govt don’t gave a problem with the far right fascists but people protesting against an actual genocide are arrested. It’s so fucked up.

  12. "The Metropolitan Police said it had drawn officers in from other forces to help form a "significant policing presence."

This is going to cost the taxpayer a fortune and they'll need to release actual criminals to imprison all the pensioners and Vicars.

  13. I wonder if it's crossed our Government's mind that it's making itself look stupid. Is there anyone in charge to say this isn't clever and won't be forgotten at the next election?

  14. Fabulous, Palestine will be the death of this Labour government. Next, we will end up with actual fascists in power who will do much worse by actually bombing innocents if they get paid enough by the USA. What a fucked up world.

  15. I think patriotism is silly. Why anyone be proud of something they have control over? That they didn't work to achieve? That's my logical position. So maybe there should be another word for it as I've just sat at home today on my arse...but these people make me proud to be British.
