It's deeply disturbing when you realise you can't trust the ABC to keep you factually informed on world news, as so many important events go completely unreported (even on the ABC News website). But there's lots of vacuous tabloid trash "lifestyle and culture" clickbait. #JournalismMatters

Vacuous is exactly the word to use. I was just on it to try & catch up with todays news & it was utterly useless.
Mate the state broadcaster is an enemy of the people. Nothing disturbing. Just a fact of life.
One of the reasons I have avoided the ABC website for some years. It's like a combination of the Women's Weekly and the Herald Sun. (shudder)

Almost never go there, BBC, Corriere, RAI, France24, they all have true international stories and appear more factual than our glossy magazine style aunty
