I believe everyone caught up in his cult behaved badly in reverence to HIM but I also believe that like Manson's cult-they lost the ability to effectively allow conscience to overtake the cult philosophy. I think for some GOP the cult poison is wearing off & they are ashamed of their cult behaviour.
