I’m sad to hear the news that the wonderful Jane Goodall is no longer in the world. Her work with chimpanzees at Gombe in Tanzania taught us to look at other apes - and ourselves - differently. I was privileged to meet her later in life and tell her what an inspiration she was to me.

  2. So very sad. Such a loss for the whole world. It seems all those of such high calibre are aging too fast, but there is none great enough to pick up their banner. I was gladdened to see recently, Dr David Neal on DFB; one day, his skills and knowledge will be a great loss to us all. 😔♥️

  3. Flags should fly at half staff around the world in recognition of such a great, compassionate, empathic person.

Mr. President, Make the proclamation that lowers the flags of our country in her honor.

    Dr.Goodall certainly deserves it. #janegoodallflagathalfmast
