  1. The Moskva was touted as the most advanced naval air defense platform in existance... then it was sunk by two subsonic, non-stealth, cruise missiles the size of telephone poles.

This ship's air defense cluster is inferior to what the Moskva had...

  2. It will probably catch fire and sink on its own. I will give it maybe 6 months. 🤣😆🤣

  3. This is the new worst project of the moskal navy, now that the Kuznetsov got put down. History of Everything has a pretty fun video on it and the future of their navy as a whole.

  4. I hope they send it to the black sea, so Ukraine can take care of it. They will send it to the bottom, to spend time with it's family ships.

  5. Very good news!! Now is the exact time for Russia to do the same with their only/last aircraft carrier...

  6. Speculation is that the "Pyotr Velikiy" will be retired once the Nakhimov is handed back over the navy.

  7. Navies have often been a prestige endeavor rather than a real military objective. Italian Navy during WWII was never fully used because of lack of fuel. German fleet often had a "non engagement" policy. And even USA were not fully using their fleet because of similar constraints.

  8. 26 years of not having an experienced crew aboard to train fresh recruits on how to avoid mistakes? Ships like this are very complicated & fickle beasts, and russians are really good at stepping into wolf traps...

  9. Bucket-O-Problems. The Moskva had a ton of defects, I would bet this one is worse. Strictly for show I would think.

  10. What could possibly go wrong with the russian standard for „repairing“ and „modernisation“… I have a thousand ideas.

    We will see… 🍿

  11. As a nuclear powered vessel, when it sinks, or is sunk (and it will be one of those two), will it create a lit and glowing artificial reef? 🧐
