I can’t speak to the authenticity of the video, but it does look to be the anti-drone netting attached to a frame, if you zoom in closer. That in itself is certainly a real thing that Russia does.
Wouldn’t surprise me that the video itself is authentic though.
I'd never heard of this, however it could be netting, the straight edges are a bit suss.
Straight edges = metal frame

Don't think rope netting, think mesh wire, like chicken fencing. It helps protect against drone strikes. You want a taut mesh, any slack and you've lost any protection it might offer
Anti drone protection is standard and comes in a variety of forms.
Because it's mesh not actual nets .
Just about every military vehicle in Ukraine (on both sides) has had some variation of this for over two years
