When something is labeled "Ben Verlander's" you know you're about to see some of the dumbest stuff imaginable

Minnesota is in the AL South

  1. Smh @ all the compass purists in the comments.

Guys, the game is changing. The DH is everywhere. We have specialized relievers. We talk about spin rates and launch angles. North means South. Welcome to the 21st Century.

  2. Realignment is dumb, but here's what I would do.

Northeast NYY / BOS / PHI / NYM North DET / CLE / TOR / MIN West SEA / LVV / COL / Portland Central TEX / HOU / KC / ARI East BAL / WAS / PIT / CIN Midwest MIL / CHC / CHW / STL South TB / FLA / Nashville / ATL Southwest SD / LAD / SF / LAA

  3. Stephen Nesbitt at the Athletic has the most realistic and reasonable realignment. Only a couple League changes, and not many divisional changes either.

Of course, it depends on the west getting a team, and not 2 in the southeast...

  4. I don’t understand why they’d go to 4 divisions in each league instead of 2 divisions in each league. Either way more than 8 teams make the post season I imagine so I don’t see the advantage of 2x4

  5. I mean, the only other ways to do it would be to put Cinci or the ChiSox in the AL south and Minn in the north.

Then Blue Jays in the NL East, Pitt in AL North.

    My Divs would be:

  6. Want Mil and MN in same division. Same with Tor and Det

AL East NY Bos Balt TB North TOR DET CLEV CHI South HOU TEX LV KC West SEA Salt Lake City COL LAA

NL East PHI NYM WASH PIT North MIL CHIC STL MN South CIN FLA Nashville ATL West LAD PHX SF SD
