Saw a thing about 'avoid tangents!' and I wanna say my two cents, which is "If you have tangent lines, it's not inherently a bad thing, and sometimes you can even do them on purpose!"

Accidental tangents can flatten an image and muddy clarity of a design.

Purposeful tangets are fun!
