Lately I've been struggling with RP in D&D, and it's annoying because when I was younger I went through the aroace experience of believing romantic relationships didn't exist and I just had to ACT really well to be part of Society™️, and I could've at least gain some transferable skills from that 😆

Honestly what a mood 😭 I remember my friends were obsessed with boy bands and celebrities and I was just here like cool, I like this one band (that happened to be all men) and my friends were like omg you’re finally in your boy crazy phase like us! And I was like uuuuhhhhh okay then??? 😅

Oh god, I feel the same trying to write a back story. God damnit, teenage me could write a 20 page short story, why can I barely manage three sentences now!?

Like, come on, I spent several years pretending to have crushes on people because 'everyone's just pretending, right, it's all one big joke and I just have to be in on the joke'
I could at LEAST be able to convincingly RP having a crush on someone in D&D but no I didn't even get that. Time wasted
