  1. From here on, we will have no idea what the real numbers are. We will only feel it as we go grocery shopping, and buying every day stuff. My motor oil is going from $6.95 a quart to $10.95 a quart. Why? Well it's not because of an oil shortage, so I have to assume it's because of import tariffs.

  2. I own a beef jerky company and the prices of beef are skyrocketing. I had to raise my prices $1 per ounce! The price for all meats are going up up up!

  3. The Trump/MAGA strategy relies on lies and creating a false reality; and aggressively selling this reality to the people. He surrounded himself with bootlickers that will perpetuate his lies. Eventually MAGA-ites will catch on and realize they've been screwed by Trump.

Only if you include fuelโ€™s drop. Otherwise itโ€™s 3.1% annualized

  5. Could this price also reflect the lack of workers on cattle ranches and meat-packing plants? I thought I read somewhere that these BS raids would cause a rise in beef (and other meat).

  6. Inflation at the grocery store used to mean prices went up a few cents an item. Now it's $.50, $.75 even a buck an item! This is real and who am I going to believe? Them or my lyin' eyes? Oh and the pres is a pedophile! #BelieveTheVictims #ReleaseTheFiles

Since government liability, specifically debt, is tied to the CPI, if you fudge those numbers you can effectively inflate the government out of debt.

  8. Wow! Iโ€™m glad I donโ€™t eat meat. Who can afford that for a regular meal? I would think it would be tough to afford that as a special occasion splurge meal. Yikes!

  9. Sorry, but it can sit on the shelves and rot. You don't need steak to live. Honestly, the price in 2024 I would never had paid either. For that amount of money I'll go to a Longhorn restaurant and have it cooked and brought to me.
