it was a HATE CRIME because he is a gay Indigenous man.
Say those words. Do not dance around it. He wasn't "killed in a shooting." He was murdered in a hate crime.
Also, his home had been burned down. Have to wonder if that wasn’t the first strike by the bigot down the street and if so, why the firearms weren’t removed immediately.

Because the cops purposefully ignored the repeated calls and report made by Jon and his partner. Because the cops don't give a fuck, or worse, because the cops helped burn the fucking house down

He and his husband reported a neighbor that directly threatened to burn their house down, and the cops did absolutely nothing. These events were likely the same person with this horrid totem they displayed at the burned down house.
