Unfortunately, it’s probably the role that most americans know him from. I thought that he was outstanding in everything he did, and hopefully people will seek out his other work as well.
That's no excuse for the fucking BBC to lead with it. It's lazy and cheap.

I totally agree. Terrence Stamp deserves better. Since BBC.com is the default BBC website for america, I’d guess that the people in charge assume that lazy and cheap work is good enough for this audience.
