Meh, so what. No bad intentions here. Just impressed by how the Europeans have done things, is all. It's frustrating how (some, many) Americans think they do everything best, when they don't. So it's a bit of a reaction to that.
I love my country, but in the way a person might love a parent who is abusive but themselves were abused continuing the cycle. Not a perfect metaphor but you probably get the idea.

It's so frustrating to see so much division where it becomes all too easy to condemn people on a whim, I have to admit. I know most people are normal respectable people. Ultimately, the best fix to break bad cycles would be electoral reform. Power by popular vote. That would fix everything.
