This is plainly unconstitutional — and the president knows it.
But more than that, it’s another blatant attempt by Trump to rig the next election, and gerrymander more Republican seats.
We’ll fight this.
He tried this in Trump 1.0 and lost at the Supreme Court.
He just may pull it off this time. A tactic like this would surely hurt congressional district apportionment in California, HOWEVER after California, the next states with the highest undocumented immigrant populations are, TX, FL, & AZ.
