Ugh, we have a certain of this in the UK... It's been breaking the internet, and to read news and current affairs I must connect to a VPN now. You must oppose this in the EU before you end up suffering a hobbled and censored version of the internet too!
My deepest condolences - the situation in the UK is truly horrifying, from what I heard. I hope you guys manage to shake it off eventually as well!
