Anyone recall the trading card collecting craze of the 1990’s?

Around 1992 I collected Star Trek: The Next Generation cards.

As a kid I enjoyed mail-in offers (I never did receive that Mr. Bubble bathtub thermometer).

Here are both a mail-away checklist & bonus, gold Enterprise hologram card.

OMG, I was just talking about this with someone else. Their daughter is into collecting 90s basketball cards, so I dug out my old collection...and it includes a number of those Star Trek TNG cards!

  1. Card collecting was hige in the 90’s as I recall. Folks were going to Costco and buying boxes. I remember golfer Payne Stewart even had a card!
