I've stood behind NSFW art as a direct challenge to how acceptable violence is! It's somehow aspirational to sell your body to the state for profit or conquest but downright illegal to do so for intimacy.

I think part of the problem has the same root as the term NSFW. This implies that it's not compatible with 'work'. It implies shame, and that a responsible, working, sane and healthy adult would not indulge in this publicly or in the sacred workplace.
