Everytime Luxon talks about the $6B in infrastructure spending why isn't he being hounded about the ferry debacle? That would have done more for shoring up trade, getting NZ moving etc by prioritising the strait which is SH1. Spending money on f**king roads that cost more than this vital route.

Our David Brent PM is making up the $6B number for the original plan. It’s somehow becoming exponentially larger for every fuck up they’ve done that’s been exposed

And spending that money on the wrong roads to keep rich voters north of Wellington and in the Waikato happy while SH1 between Taupo and Waiouru remains an embarassment as a serious transport route - very scenic but still an embarassment...

I reckon someone needs to look into how much air nz is profiting from the removal of the ferry. Luxon used to be the ceo...no doubt hes done some deal to ensure his mates are profiting from this

Honestly think it's because the media (at least the owners and senior editors) like National and ACT and want them to win. If Labour or (gasp) the Greens had done anything like this, they'd never stop bringing it up.
