To me this is why taking a QB with limited physical tools is a no go going forward. The path to elite play for them is so narrow that if they aren’t perfect, it’s crushing.

Obviously physical tools will dwindle, but until that happens it gives QBs such a higher floor for production.

Can not agree with a high floor. I've seen collegiate physical studs that are completely inept in NFL. Frankly, you need scouts that can properly judge athletics AND intelligence. I've learned to ignore fans when they swear so and so is perfect QB to draft. It's too complex.

  1. I said higher floor. All QBs need time to adjust to the mental aspect of the game. But if your QB can scramble it gives him the ability to still make a play when he’s too afraid to pull the trigger on a throw.

    I’m not saying just draft an athlete, but in today’s NFL your QB HAS to be mobile.
