Tip for Dem candidates: stop trying, as many prominent Dems have, to offer audiences the “right” answers, the ones you think they want to hear or ones consultants have tested, and start speaking from the heart, from what you really feel. It is what the moment requires. You can’t fake authenticity.
“I love America and I know you do too. But what Trump is doing is against all we all knew and loved about our treasured country. You know it. He has to be stopped. Now. I call on all of us to save America.”
Something like that?
