This email I received after I was on Newsnight pointing out how extreme and misinformed people are about immigration is quite something.
To move from ‘I’m a pacifist’ to ‘let’s be at war with France’ in just a few lines is impressive.
Ignore everything before "but".

Well, if starting a war with arguably our closest ally at the moment isn't a pacifist move, I don't know what is. And the overuse of full stops is hurting me.
Sadly there are a lot of them out there.
A war with France? Perhaps we could bring back Sharpe and his chosen men. Could we just swap migrants for idiots?
