Why would a leftist want to preserve the second oldest constitution still in use, written by slave owners, that doesn't represent the majority of its population?
It would represent the people better if the people actually voted.

Don't know if you noticed. But we did vote. You pretend like there's some magical thing where people feel represented enough to be excited to vote. We watch dems march farther right election over election instead of engaging and addressing our issues, our needs, our visions for the future.
