  1. That was the 1st time I ever sobbed uncontrollably when anyone was elected. I knew it. I just hope the fast food catches up with him soon.

  2. In all honesty if Biden had not decided to run in '24 we'd likely have a D president right now and probably a D house.

My point is that none of this was inevitable starting in 11/2016 simply because of what Trump/Republicans did.

I think it's more prescient to have predicted Biden's effect ;)

  3. On June 15, 2015 when Donald Shitler came down the golden escalator I knew he was a fascist lying POS. I thought no one will vote for this fraud. Now, 11 years later America has sold its soul to the devil, made a Faustian bargain with madness and ruination.

  4. Youโ€™d be amazed how many of those people in my life are now openly working to elect Republicans.

  5. After how badly tRump has screwed his own supporters, I still donโ€™t see the buyers remorse. Perhaps, theyโ€™re trying futilely to resolve cognitive dissonance regarding their own, poor choice at the polls, or maybe his voters have some form of Stockholm Syndrome?

  6. I concur, A HUGE FUCK YOU to the people who didn't think putting a draft dodger, bankruptcy king, and serial cheater in the WH was bad idea? Just the SC damage alone should have been enough proof, but now we have all trumpkins cronies tinkering with our democracy. Miller & Vought are in charge.

  7. Proud to say I attended the first Womenโ€™s March in Washington DC the day after Trumpโ€™s inauguration, 2017. Trump has proven to be as bad as we predicted, but even more so!!!

  8. I would love to be laughing about how much I overreacted, that I had read everything wrong, had gone down some rabbit hole and gotten duped cuz being right sucks.

  9. I still remember it like yesterday as I stood In my office corridor transfixed to the screen as Clinton conceded with tears streaming down my face. Just the day before I had proudly voted convinced of the historic moment coming with my 4yr olds at my side. And then it collapsed and I cried, knowing.

  10. I moved out of the Idiocracy one month after Biden's inauguration because I expected that he would betray the country instead of seeing justice done, and expected therefore that he'd let the orange traitor back into office.

Biden ignored the warnings, most americans as well...

  11. And to those who are still saying โ€˜donโ€™t worry- youโ€™ll be okayโ€ฆ heโ€™s only going after immigrants.โ€™ I get so fโ€™ing mad at those people.

  12. I fell the same way, I got trigger thumb because of my panic from that election. It took a year to heal. O

  13. I made the decision to vacate the country. I do not see the US getting out of this mess, and I only have a few more years to live, so I went to a happy place! Iโ€™m sorry for throwing in the towel, but stupid ppl are not helpful when you are checking out.

  14. And the โ€œarenโ€™t you over that yet?โ€ That was three months after his first term. I am not over it yet.

  15. I feel the same way about it but I didn't think he had a chance until Comey reopened the emails investigation, that's when I knew the fix was in. Even then I didn't think he would make it through one term, but here we are eleven years later and it keeps getting worse.

  16. I wanna add a fuck you to the people who said I was overreacting when they came up with the idea of Homeland Security (2001) & I called it the Gestapo. I saw the potential for abuse when it was created. The way the agency was created super quick with little to no oversight, had me very worried.

  18. I know, right?

The day after the election I wrote "Welcome to fascist America" and received a number of 'You're overreacting' and 'It's nothing' and worse.

  19. I feel this so deeply!!! Others thought I was overreacting when he first ran. Spotting the malignant narcissist and his black hole-soul of depravity isnโ€™t hard to miss. The fascism is a foregone conclusion of his narcissism, greed, and egotism.

  20. "The villagers, horses, and then the royal engineers with ropes; Everyone tried, but nothing worked. He was too big and too passive. Once a mighty and furious beast, now he lay unbothered. Even as he sunk deeper and deeper. A saddening sight.โ€ More strivings, stories, and poems at w4td.substack.

  21. I imaging what our nation would be like if the DNC didnโ€™t sabotage the Sanders campaign. He would have beaten Trump easily and we wouldnโ€™t be where we are today.

  23. I'm forever expressing the same rage regarding 2000... The SCOTUS & devastating climate change fueled events keep rubbing in the extra coarse rock salt.

  24. 2016-2020 was a god-damned painful nightmare. I'm not over it and have not recovered from it. Lost kids who were separated from families and never recovered. Throwing paper towels at hurricane victims. Over 1mm dead Americans due to mismanagement of COVID. And here we are... AGAIN. And worse!!

  25. I mean the democrats have been shitting the bed since Bernie Sanders. In stead of giving people something to hate, give people something to vote forโ€ฆ

  26. USA has made a round trip into & out of fascism...and back again:

2017 - We stepped through the looking glass to a devastating alternate reality

2021 - We stepped back through the looking glass & found our way back to reality

2025 - We again stepped through the looking glass...into the abyss.

  27. Or thought a woman in the white house, especially a black woman who laughed funny, was a worse idea than Trump

  28. I dont think you'll find many people on this site who said that to ANYONE in 2016.

  29. I'll raise your "fuck you" to "you bloody idiots better get off your asses and help us save America." It'll be ironic if a pedo list brings it all crashing down. Maybe poignant would be a better word.

  30. And a double fuck you to ex friends, white mothers of daughters who told me their men wouldn't ban abortions and no women would die. I was an indoctrinated liberal. Black women know all about death being inflicted on others, because laws aren't real & change on the whims of those in charge. 2015

  32. I took it far tho, I had a meeting w/ our maker.

Talk about going full Karen & demanding an audience w/ THE Manager!

I thought well this must be wrong place, but the LOVE the INTELECT! Pull was Right/Bright/Strong.

I took 3 days apparently felt like 3 millennia, & came to terms w/ coming back.๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿฆโœ๏ธ

  33. How about the "both sides are evil, so it doesn't matter," or the "I'm voting Bernie or for no one" crowds? They gift wrapped us all of this. If everyone who voted for Obama voted for Hillary, the entire future of our planet would be vastly different.

  34. Same goes to everybody who told me I was just being "hateful" whenever I said anything negative about Donald Trump.

  35. I lost a friend in this mess. 9 years ago he was talking shit about how great is Trump.

I wait too long maybe cause he stop talking about after establishing a no politic talk rule with him.

Then he break da rule (what else Trumpist can do) and i let him leave, like enough for me.

  36. I remember telling a friend in 2016, "Don't worry about Trump. He'll never win."

Apparently, the Clinton campaign believed the same, having worked with the DNC to elevate Trump in the GOP primary.

Harris campaign in 2024: Trump has been impeached twice and convicted of felonies. We got this!

  37. And the same to everyone who sat back and stayed quiet when the republicans refused to hold the hearing to appoint Merrick Garland.
