If you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s quite possible to inadvertently consume a dangerous — even lethal — dose.
TL;DR don’t do this.
I was legit thinking the same thing. Unless you're an expert at distillation, you're not going to know how to get the MeOH out of this...and like, I would say it's not necessarily complicated, but it's not a task I'd give to an amateur.

It's actually not that hard. Methanol boils off first. Heat the stuff until you some steam coming off and let it cool for a bit and most of it will be gone. Not perfect, but it is simple.
Fwiw, it can be removed through standard distillation vs freeze distillation, but again, it's not exactly trivial and your average person would either inundate their home with flammable vapors, or fuck up the process, and it's something that should genuinely be done in an XP environment anyways.
