Republicans in several states keep trying to impose Ten Commandments displays on public school kids.

Judges keep telling them, “You can't do that.”

The Supreme Court already ruled against the Ten Commandments in classrooms. That’s why lawsuits against new Republican-imposed displays keep winning.

  1. I’m glad you pointed out that this is even a friction point for different Christian denominations.

Catholics have a big chunk of their Universal Catechism arranged around a version of the Commandments that Evangelicals reject.

So this performance art for their base stresses their coalition.
