This. I was expecting supervillain-level trauma, not a shady real estate developer turned reality TV show host who can’t form a coherent thought getting used by some slimy fringe right-wing policy wonks to con a bunch of old people, incels and religious nuts into voting against their own interests.

It's not bad enough that so many in this country fell in line with fascism, but we didn't even get a handsome, clever dictator. They literally fell for a fat, failed turd of a man-child who can't speak in complete sentences. Honestly, that kills me; the stupidity is almost worse than the evil.
