The hellish Sweeney news cycle is a helpful microcosm of how Dems simply can't win culture war fights - even if they see that the 'liberal' take is dumb & opt out. Or as I call it: “The left and the right are clashing over x. The left is an Oberlin sophomore and the right is the governor of Texas.”
