One of the unique aspects of my work area is the prevalence of lakes where stocked stream trout are able to survive for multiple years. These put-grow-take systems can grow really large fish, like this large splake (lake trout x brook trout hybrid) sampled this last spring! #52FishyFridays 🐟🐠🎣
