    This reveals the depth & layers of American misogyny. The partisan Supreme Court decides which rights to "bestow" upon women but now individual law enforcement and DAs will make decisions based on nothing but their own opinions. First they came for our bodies, soon they'll come for our votes.

    Frankly, this lady doing the suing should be asking for a LOT more cash - Gonzalez was even mentioned in my dumpster-fire back-water of the UK by anti-abortion activists and in some media.

    Hope her lawyers ask the jurors if they'd want those officers protecting them, when they choose to ignore law.

    Despite uproar over the charges and disciplinary action against DA Gocha Ramirez (who's now accused of paying for his mistress' abortion), multiple people in the sheriff’s office suggested to Gonzalez’s lawyers that they wouldn’t do much of anything differently. One said he still didn't know the law
