(though i appreciate the numerous reminders in the text that 70s feminism was not one thing and there were active debates about trans inclusion, rather than a pure TERF consensus; but anyway it’s hard not to focus on the negative.)
I always vacillate: quote the bile or just allude to it, but since Trans History is for a general audience, I decided it was important for cis folks to see what gets pointed at us. Of course, they see it all the time now.
