There are a number of major technical hurdles to building a nuclear reactor on the moon, but the one that really grabs my attention is putting a bunch of radioactive material into a spaceship built by the exploding spaceship guy

  2. Meh when it blows up there's a pretty fair chance it just ends up in the ocean. No problem. It's not like you live there or anything.

    If it blows up on the moon then it'll just be like free advertising.

    And if moon rocks glow we'll just get more full moons for a few million years!

  3. Look fusion has been just 20 years away for 50 years now and the moon has a huge supply of hydrogen 3. And while microgravity literally kills you, something something watched too much Star Trek while not reading enough books means colonization is gonna happen in 5 years at the max.
