I love drawing big tails! They make a great prop, they're good for sight gags, you can use them to modify how a character moves, balances and poses, you can use them to help frame a focus point or aid in the overall composition... To name a few things.
But sometimes they're just in the way. XD

Good job! and the answer is: It all depends though making it a big part of the background and having it curve to the forground helps. Ik some folks like it wrapped around their OC a bit. The size of the tail is really what matters and how much the sona wants tp show it off X3
