  1. One's 20s should be preparation for the rest of one's life. They should br experimental, hard, fun, full of mistakes, but also charged toward some goals. It is difficult not to measure progress by way of material accomplishments, but one's 20s should be focused on aligning the inner with the outer

  2. “But if your 20s are the best years of your life”…. they’re just not
that first independence and strength can be sweet - and scary - and it takes years for many to really cut the cords

Personally loved the 30s and 40s more…then the donkey years start (still sweet but a lot more work)

  3. My 20s and early 30s WERE the best years of my life. I’m 58 and still love my life, but the freedom and fun my husband and I had will always be the best of times we had and that is ok. We relished it.

  4. No entry-level jobs, out-of-reach housing, and the extension of family healthcare benefits to young adults are underlying factors here. 26 is the new 18, and the #socialcontract is broken

Capitalism made us say it’s okay to waste a life 40 hours a week at work, so now we’re working on the other 128
