    Time for parents to have their kids friends over and have a book club featuring these books. Or parents send your kid to school with one of the banned books in the kidโ€™s backpack. Didnโ€™t come from the school library or the classroom so nothing the UCP can do about it.

    I know they're not inclined to listen, but this is a good time to write to your MLA. Also as municipal elections are this fall, to indicate to candidates how important it is to adequately fund the public library so they can continue to provide universal and democratic access.
