Actually, getting flu vaccine too early isn't the best idea, unless there is evidence of an early start to flu season. My local pharmacy is urging me to get a shot now; "Beat the rush." Given that flu activity generally peaks around Christmas or later in the N. Hemisphere, better to wait till Oct.
optimistic to think we will have an updated flu vax over here, but I am not losing all hope yet.
