I told my Boomer cousin “I don’t care if EBT recipients buy junk food or cigarettes or whatever. Being poor already sucks; we don’t need to make it worse.”
They could not believe this was an opinion a thinking person could have.
We are taught to hate the poor even though the wealthy are the ones that exploit and hoard from us.
