Yeah, I agree. Every time we fork over a giant public investment, subsidy, or tax forgiveness, we should be told what it will do for the Gini rario, more than the the job count or the GDP increment. Grrrrrr.
The more I think about this, the more I think that at least half of government revenues from resource extraction should go directly to people as dividend payments.
Perhaps all of it, save what's going into climate change adaptation.
