it was terrorism (not genocide), Hamas doesn't have the resources or capabilities to commit genocide (unlike Israel/Netanyahu et al who have wanted Gaza and the W Bank to be part of Israel for a long time

I don’t think any serious person defends the attack by Hamas, nor do they use the accusation of genocide against Israel. Both are to blame for their abominable actions.

By your definition israel is also commiting genocide. This all could’ve easily been avoided if israel wasn’t actively expansionist and if they didn’t support Hamas to undermine secular Palestinian groups
