Good morning to everyone who hates the Air and Water Show. All my homies hate the Air and Water Show. It's trash every year, but wow, especially with the fascism and all the cuts to the social safety net and public good! Could've saved some jet money, I bet!

This weekend feels like a pack-my-laptop-and-head-to-a-not-downtown-library-branch-to-write kind of weekend.
And I think that's the right decision.

Anyway, I'm legitimately afraid of one of these planes hitting a skyscraper downtown one of these years, and everyone is going to act so surprised, like it isn't a completely reasonable thing to be worried about eventually happening.

The first year I lived in Chicago I was trying to take a lil' nap in my apartment, only to be wakened by screaming jets from tAaWS, a thing I didn't know existed. I legit thought we were under attack and panicked. tAaWS has been my enemy ever since.
