I love those olden Dark eldar Wyches much more than newer ones. They look like the real gladiators, exactly like the ancient roman references.
100% agreed. I love the vibe of the 3rd edition eldar.
They were an overpriced elite choice that barely damaged guardmen unless you got lucky with the combat drug rolls.
But they were my favourite unit in the codex.
And you got 5 for £10.
Metal models too, like the classic scouts.

😅🤣 If they were the overpriced useless unit, I do not know, what unit was useful. I played them in the 5th edition before the new codex with plastic minis, and I used to win both berserkers and ork green tide. I do not know, GW intended to make such a combo or not, but everyone played this way:
