No one should be homeless or hungry in the richest country in the world, especially not our vets.
When I hear talk of imprisoning the homeless, I think of how many of them are former service members who could not reintegrate because of what they experienced. They lost their ability to live a normal life so that we might live free.
We failed them in the past, and we are failing them now.
...and their sacrifices won't even keep us free.
Yet the vast majority of them voted for him, somehow believing that he was going to make life better for them.
Exactly! FFS, these men and women threw everything on the line for this country. They should be treated with dignity and care.
Especially given the size of our military budget.

At this point the US is only the richest country in the world because some over the top rich dickheads live there for tax reasons - the rest of the people are losing every day.
