Tesla sales are down just as dramatically in Europe, they simply have more EV alternatives than we do in the US.
Seems like a lot of Tesla buyers in the USA were more interested in the brand itself than by the fact it was an EV. I think in Europe Tesla has always been one of multiple EV options. Of course, now it's not even an option anymore.

There was a point where I would have considered a Tesla. This was well before I knew anything about Captain Ketamine and thought he was just an eccentric science dude. It was his reaction to the guy who pulled those kids out of the cave that got my attention, and now with the nazi stuff... Yeah, no.
