It's increasingly clear that Zohran Mamdani's main opponent in the NYC mayoral race will not be Andrew Cuomo, but Donald Trump.
Which makes his likely victory a certainty.
Trump has actually tried to be a little discreet about it - he has attacked Mamdani, but hasn't, I think, said a whole lot about Cuomo. Cuomo himself, on the other hand, has been talking up an alliance at Long Island fundraisers from which a leak was no real surprise.
Cuomo thinks it helps him too. Stupid.
