I've always been a little bit fascinated with the way technical limitations can inform storytelling
Especially when something that would have been completely derivative can become original just because the people making it didn't have the same resources
One of the cool things about being a musician on a fairly tight gear budget is I kinda get to experience some of that myself
My own "sound" is a product of the stuff I've been able to get, just as much as it comes from the artists who inspire me
