Most Australians I know (including myself, who would visit at least once every 2 yrs, love NYC/Chicago/California for a Motorcycle ride) won’t be visiting at this time, for fear of being accosted at the Airports & having our devices inspected! (That’s some N.Korea shit, & it’s been happening!) 🤷♂️🙁

That city still exists, but it has gates, and high walls around it, and armed guards in the streets. If you look, you see people with colored armbands -- yellow stars, pink triangles... The smiling faces under the streetlights are (mostly) white; the darker ones move quietly in the shadows.
