The Republican-led House issued a subpoena to the Justice Department for files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The subpoena requests delivery of the documents on or before August 19.

Good. I doubt politicians will make the Epstein files public but this will increase the exposure of the material to leaks. The more people see this stuff, the better.

Notice they didn’t subpoena anyone from Trump administration like AG Barr (slow balled Epstein death investigation), Florida AG Acosta (who gave Epstein sweetheart deal) or any of Trump’s lawyers working in his administration now, like who authorized Ghislaine’s move to minimum security prison?

House Republicans, to help white-wash Trump's involvement in the Epstein scandal, subpoenaed the Clintons. Trump, wanting to beat Hillary in 2016, could have had his party buddy, Epstein, entrap his rival to gain an advantage? Trump is all over the files, most likely.
People are saying that Bezos is on the list of pedophiles. Given that he's Trump's buddy, it's totally plausible.
