Just finished Injustice, the new book by multiple Pulitzer Prize winning journalists @carolleonnig.bsky.social and Aaron Davis. So well done! And so much new information, depicting both the best and worst of the Department of Justice under Trump 1 and Biden administrations. Worth reading for sure.

Carol Leonig is a national treasure. Unfortunately, it seems quite likely based on this book's reporting that critics were right that Merrick Garland delayed looking into January 6 and that this delay had dire consequences.

Plan on it!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!

I saw the Nicolle Wallace interview with the above, and I just bought the book. History will be a harsh judge when it comes to Merrick Garland IMO. He choked, not wanting to look political, when what was needed was quick action to stem a seditious conspiracy. Terrible management.

It’s a long read.

I listened to her i/v, my blood boiled. Merrick Garland “as an institutionalist” didn’t feel it was right for the classified documented case against Trump to be driven by the election calendar? So we are now all fucked. I can’t read it only to be told that “anybody else” would have gone to prison.

Thx - appreciate the suggestion!
