This was me with playing music for almost 10 years. Had really bad experiences in highschool band for 4 years which made me have ptsd from touching my instruments,but I'm slowly getting over it with a new instrument

Oh yeah. I full bailed on a game I used to love because one of the devs turned out to be a huge asshole with a 'I know better than players how they should enjoy the game' mentality, and removed difficulty options that have existed for 8 years from menus. "If youre not smart enough to mod, fuck you."

I can relate. I really enjoy roleplaying, tried many times to find a dnd group and have had almost nothing but terrible experiences. Ran with a roleplaying guild in an mmo for almost a year, but realized the whole system the guild had going was just keeping me from playing my character. So, I write.
