I also read this today. I hope a lawsuit can turn this around in favor of the trans-gender members of the miliary. But what a slap in the face. Another action which exposes the cruelty and bigotry of this administration.

The U.S. Air Force said it will deny all transgender service members who have served between 15 and 18 years the option to retire early.
Any other person with +15 years of service is eligible for retirement.
In Europe, we treat our troops with respect and dignity.
The US does not.

Reminder that these people are ostensibly being fired "for now" as the court case works it's way through the appeals process and is potentially heard by the Supreme Court. That they are being stripped of any record of good service or any entitlements of their work is a choice that may be reversed.
